Production/Assembly

A thriving rubber seal manufacturer in Akron is looking for a reliable and experienced production/assembly worker to join their team on 1st shift.

SHIFT: 1st (7:30a-4p) Monday-Friday

PAY: $13/hr. Raise upon hire in after 90 days with a great benefits package. 

Position Overview: As a Production and Assembly Worker, you will be a key part of our production team. You will be responsible for operating machinery, assembling rubber seals, and ensuring that products meet the highest standards of quality. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, teamwork, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate production machinery and equipment for rubber seal manufacturing.
• Assemble and inspect rubber seals according to specifications and quality standards.
• Monitor production processes, troubleshoot issues, and report any malfunctions or concerns.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and ensure cleanliness of work areas.
• Adhere to safety procedures and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Package finished products and prepare them for shipment.
• Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment.
• Maintain accurate records of production output, materials used, and any issues encountered during production.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge of the production process.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Ability to operate production machinery and tools safely.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic math skills for measuring and calculating materials.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Knowledge of safety protocols in a manufacturing setting.
