Duties
- Perform blood draws using aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and specimen integrity.
- Collect specimens from patients, including blood samples, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and empathy.
- Process specimens for laboratory analysis, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of specimen collection and patient information in compliance with medical terminology standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient service and care during the phlebotomy process.
- Educate patients on the procedures involved in blood sampling to alleviate anxiety and promote cooperation.
- Uphold cleanliness and organization in the laboratory environment, following safety guidelines at all times.
