The Company is valued for its Standards content and workflow solutions like Engineering Workbench, Goldfire, Haystack and Parts Management Solutions.Under its previous owners, including S&P Global, IHS and IHS Markit, Accuris has been an integral part of the engineering ecosystem for more than 60 years.The Impact : In this newly created role, the Associate General Counsel will focus on drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, including agreements with customers, channel partners, content licensors, vendors and other counterparties. They will also oversee legal support for one or more sales regions and manage and oversee complex legal projects on an as needed basis.This is a key legal leadership position that will also be involved in the overall management and strategy of the legal department. You’ll be key to protecting the company’s reputation, managing risk, and contributing to its continued global growth.Responsibilities : Negotiate and draft commercial agreements.Establish and maintain scalable contracting processes and templates.Oversee legal support for one or more sales regions.Assist with matters related to intellectual property and artificial intelligence.Collaborate with business units to ensure commercial contracts align with legal and regulatory requirements.Oversee the development and implementation of applicable corporate policies and procedures.Assist with and / or manage various compliance and litigation matters.Support the CLO in addressing legal matters related to corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic initiatives.Manage and oversee other complex legal projects on an as needed basis.What We’re Looking For : Qualifications : JD from an accredited law school and licensed or eligible to practice law in Colorado.15 years of legal experience, with a strong focus on contracting and other commercial legal matters.Overall familiarity with general corporate legal matters and prior in-house counsel experience is required.International legal experience strongly preferred.Some experience with compliance issues, including privacy, security, export controls, and sanctions is preferred.Soft Skills : Strong leadership and communication skills.Ability to think strategically while ensuring attention to detail.Proactive problem-solver with a collaborative approach.Compensation / Benefits Information (This section is only applicable to US candidates) : Accuris states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $170,000 - $200,000 . Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographical location as well as experience and qualifications for the role. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual bonus plan as well as comprehensive benefits and additional compensation .
