Role : IT Security Architect
Location : New York, NY
Duration : Long-time contract
Key Responsibilities :
We are seeking an experienced IT Security Architect to lead the review of long-term Identity and Access Management (IAM) program applications . This role involves assessing security controls, evaluating application security configurations, and ensuring IAM compliance with security best practices . The ideal candidate will have expertise in IAM frameworks, security architecture, risk management, and regulatory compliance .
Key Responsibilities :
1. IAM Security Assessment & Risk Analysis :
- Review IAM program applications and assess their security control configurations and posture .
- Conduct security architecture reviews for IAM solutions, including authentication, authorization, and identity governance.
- Identify security risks, vulnerabilities, and compliance gaps in IAM implementations.
- Define security control baselines and hardening guidelines for IAM-related applications.

Required Skills & Qualifications :
Technical Skills :
Strong experience with IAM frameworks and solutions (Okta, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), SailPoint, CyberArk, Ping Identity, ForgeRock).
Deep understanding of identity governance (IGA), privileged access management (PAM), and role-based access control (RBAC) .
Knowledge of IAM security protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, LDAP, SCIM).
Experience with security assessments, threat modeling, and risk analysis for IAM applications.
Familiarity with SIEM, security monitoring, and IAM logging best practices .
Strong understanding of Zero Trust Security models and cloud IAM (AWS IAM, Azure AD, Google Cloud IAM).
Experience with compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, SOX, PCI-DSS, HIPAA).
