Job Summary
Our Fueling and Fleeting Operators monitor and track barges in the fleet and handle shore-side fueling operations and light maintenance. This position reports into our Channelview, TX office.
Qualifications and Skills
Valid Driver License/transportation
TWIC card
Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, Drug and Alcohol screen
Work 12 hour shifts

- Must have the physical stamina to lift, carry and pull on fueling hoses of 60 pounds to complete the task & still have the foresight to recognize when assistance is needed.
- Ability to climb 8-10 foot stairways and / or ladders for gauging trucks.
- Must possess color vision and depth perception sufficient to recognize color-coded objects such as electrical components, navigation lights, hazardous cargo placards, warning signals, and valves.
- Must be capable of hearing alarms, unusual noises in operating machinery, and signals from boat or personnel by radio, telephone, or voice communicator.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Log and track barges in the fleet; capable of multi-tasking between barge traffic, fueling, communications.
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively with vessels, customers, company personnel.
- Monitor the safety of the fleet property and ability to assess area for safety.
- Oversee security, stability, and mooring of barges, monitor traffic and parking of vessels.
- Monitor, Spot, connect, disconnect Tanker Trucks, or vessels for loading fuel.
- Gauge Frac truck tanks and operate fueling meters (tickets for fueling).
- Clear and clean fuel hoses.
- Perform light maintenance up to and including housekeeping and lawn services.
