AccuTune Offroad is seeking a shock assembler with an offroad passion to grow within the industry. From assembling control arms on fixtures to tuning shocks, this role is responsible for putting together premium products for customers. Founded in 2015, AccuTune Off-Road specializes in making Jeeps, Trucks, and off-road Buggies ride more comfortably and perform better on road and off-road by selling premium suspension products paired with custom tuned shocks. Our founder has been in the Automotive suspension industry since 2001 and started AccuTune Off-Road to provide a better experience for customers and employees. AccuTune Off-Road just launched their new product line: Ride Shocks. Ride Shocks is a line of premium 2.5 shock absorbers which are redefining what is possible

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Revalve a large variety of Fox & King shocks such as smoothies, air shocks, coilovers, bypasses
• Assemble Ride Shocks
• Learn AccuTune Off-Roads unique valve codes
• Build kit assemblies & component assemblies using hand tools
• Assemble suspension components according to drawings and work instructions
• Accurately pick and pull parts
• Identify issues with shocks or sales orders
• Operate hand tools such as torque wrench, calipers , and spring compressor
• Read drawings and measurements
• Ensure the highest quality of material being produced
• Assist with fulfillment and shipping of product as necessary
• Ensure an accurate and clean warehouse
• Adhere to AOR’s warehouse safety policy

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Ability to correctly & safely operate hand tools: calipers, torque wrench, spring compressor, etc.
• Ability to memorize numerical abbreviations and short codes used to describe tuning.
• Ability to read and write and to perform simple addition, subtraction, and multiplication.
• Strong interpersonal skills, high energy, persuasive, goals and results driven.
• Detail Oriented – Attention to details and accuracy.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands

Warehouse setting:

Handling packages of different size and weights.

Lift up to 70 pounds alone or up to 200 pounds with assistance.

Frequently required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb or balance.

Environment may be noisy, humid, hot or cold.

Stand up to 8 hrs a day

May require evening shifts and weekend shifts.

Benefits:

Pay: $18 to $22 per hour

401k: AccuTune contributes an automatic 3% to your 401k, no vesting or contribution required by you. Roth and traditional 401k plans available for additional employee contribution.

Health Care: Kaiser Bronze 60 HMO 6300/60 Accutune Pays 90% towards this plan

Silver 70 HMO 2500/55 HMO is available, employee pays difference in cost

Gold 80 HMO 1000/40 HMO is available, employee pays difference in cost

Dental: AccuTune pays 50% of employee monthly fee, Delta Dental PPO Advantage 400

Holidays: 7 days per year

Vacation: 13 days, growing at 1 day per year up to 18 days (based on accrual schedule)

Sick Time: 40 hours per year
