Position Summary
At AccuWeather, we are at the center of innovation, combining meteorological and atmospheric sciences with cutting-edge AI to develop groundbreaking weather-related products and services. We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist III to join our dynamic and intelligent Data Science team. By joining AccuWeather, you will bring your unique perspectives and contribute to those efforts.
A non-exhaustive list of the kind of tasks you can expect to work on :
- Explore and enhance our modeling frameworks, leveraging state-of-the-art deep learning techniques and atmospheric science principles.
- Design and develop new AI-driven approaches and implement them at scale in production to ensure robustness and scalability.
- Apply your expertise to diverse topics, from weather phenomena prediction to long-range climate modeling, among others.
- Actively contribute to the team’s daily operations, effectively communicating your progress and findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Take on team lead responsibilities by guiding and mentoring team members, fostering a collaborating environment and ensuring successful execution of team initiatives.
