Computer Systems Analyst (Enterprise Planning Manager) (ACE American Insurance Company (Chubb)) (Malvern, PA) : Partnering with other enterprise team members to design, build, and support a suite of financial planning and reporting models, utilizing computational analysis to solve business problems such as integration development, inventory control and cost analysis systems to enable users to plan, analyze, and execute business-changing decisions; Utilizing extensive understanding of IBM Cognos Planning Analytics / TM1, as well as knowledge of financial data, to transform information into technical solutions to meet business needs; Receiving, processing and analyzing information through compiling, coding, categorizing, calculating, tabulating, auditing, or verifying information or data; Designing, implementing, testing, modifying and deploying applications and new systems by choosing and configuring hardware and software; Overseeing the design and implementation of Chubb’s TM1 Financial Planning & Analytics (“FP&A”) models and enhancements; Driving the future vision of Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW) to define standards, best practices, and change management; Collaborating with various stakeholders and consultants as part of model development and implementation; Maintaining model documentation and change management communication; Engaging with the user base to gather and refine modeling and reporting requirements; Managing vendor teams on projects that require external resourcing to implement; Supporting users through their interactions with TM1, identifying and evaluating any flaws in system design, and collaborating with development teams to ensure potential solutions cover user-specific needs; and Participating in training sessions to onboard new users and functionality, ensuring that the developed application is clear, efficient, and effective. Must have the following skills and experience in order to perform the above-mentioned tasks : Strong understanding of IBM’s Planning Analytics / TM1 platform, including planning Analytics Workspace (PAW); Strong understanding of basic accounting and finance principles; Strong Excel, management, and collaboration skills; Understanding of Windows and Linux server platforms and basic management; Ability to install and maintain all software related to Planning Analytics (PA, PAW, Docker); Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and ensure timeliness of delivery; Ability to manage vendor teams of developers to ensure projects stay on budget and timeline; Understanding of SQL and various systems structures (front end systems, general ledger, reporting tools, modeling tools); Experience with BI Tools and ERP systems; and Familiarity with Agile development & project management. Requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Finance or closely related field and at least 5 years of experience as a Finance Systems Developer or related occupation.
