ACE is seeking an innovative Controls Engineer with a strong background in automation systems, including, but not limited to, PLC, HMI, and industrial robotics. The candidate will work from a defined scope of work, specified standards and templates, and/or generate designs from scratch following ACE standards. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement PLC & HMI software programs.
- Startup and debug of new equipment.
- Commissioning of ancillary controls products and vision systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and customer specifications.
- Promote and follow safety and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Traveling to end user site as required.
- Maintain detailed service and expense reports.
- Other assignments may be delegated at any time.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or 4 years of related experience
- Experience with automation systems
- Experience with PLC, HMI, and other software and systems.
- Comprehensive Siemens TIA Portal knowledge required.
- Allen Bradley experience is preferred.
- Fanuc Robot programming experience is preferred.
- Machine Vision and robot guidance experience is preferred.
- AutoCAD Electrical Design knowledge is preferred.
- Solid level of communication
