Job Summary :
We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to join our Specialty Division. You will play a crucial role in managing construction costs by collecting and analyzing bid specifications and drawings to prepare accurate estimates. You will work closely with our Project Management teams and the Senior Estimator to ensure successful bidding and project execution.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop new and maintain existing customer relationships.
- Conduct meetings with clients to showcase our services.
- Analyze project requirements through field measurements and review of drawings.
- Prepare and submit proposals, ensuring thoroughness and accuracy.
- Obtain bids from vendors and subcontractors, negotiating prices as necessary.
- Maintain up-to-date cost keys and price masters.
- Collaborate with project managers on change order pricing and facilitate value engineering discussions.
- Perform risk analysis and prepare reports for upper management.
- Visit project sites and other venues as required for estimates.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
Work Environment :
You will be working in a dynamic environment, juggling various project leads and estimations while ensuring customer satisfaction. Strong time management and communication skills are essential.
Travel :
Occasional travel may be required for site visits and client meetings.
