Under supervision from the Regional Vice President and close guidance from the Director of Training, the Regional Training Specialist II tracks and reports on a variety of new hire, refresher and new product training programs for their assigned region. Analyzes store operations and processes, and reporting to identify training gaps in knowledge, skills, and employee abilities to sell or service store products.
Major Responsibilities
- Administers and coordinates New Hire Shift training utilizing the structured New Hire Training plan (15-Shift).
- Records training and completes associated trainer surveys.
- Supports new hires in logging into ACE University to ensure training progress and assessments are captured and reported on.
- Conducts evaluation methods such as verbal knowledge checks and recorded trainee observations to evaluate knowledge, skills and performance related to understanding and adherence to company/operational/regulatory standards.
- Coordinates, facilitates/co-facilitates 15-Shift New Hire Training.
- Conducts and records trainer observations and associated trainer surveys.
- Records instructor led training activity in ACE University.
- Acts as the ACE University subject matter expert (SME) and assigns training as needed for their assigned region.
- Tracks training activity and assessment results through ACE University, and regularly reports progress to region and corporate management.
- Monitors performance metrics, and identifies employees, Stores, Districts, and Region operational performance opportunities and provides continued onsite coaching/training as needed.
- Partners with corporate training to analyze knowledge, skills and performance levels of assigned territory and conducts training needs analysis to identify opportunities related to understanding of company/operational/regulatory standards.
- Creates regular and/or special request training reports to field and corporate management.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending corporate led Train the Trainer (T3) sessions.
- Plans, schedules, facilitates or directs the instructor lead training for the assigned region.
- Participates in the development and maintenance of ACE operational internal processes and procedures.
Training Duties
- Partners with Operations Training to develop new and/or specialized training programs following approval process guidelines.
- Under direction from the Regional Vice President and Director of Training may be asked to develop content for deployment to employees.
- Manages, facilitates/co-facilitates refresher training as requested by field and corporate management.
- Manages, facilitates/co-facilitates field training implementation of new products/procedures.
- Manages, facilitates/co-facilitates special field training implementation projects within time guidelines
- Trains DD Champions on the ISDD process, completion of forms, and trains the DD Champions on the correct process and guidelines to achieve Direct Deposit goals.
Shift Lead (Trainer) Identification and Development Duties
- Makes suggestions and recommendations in the promotion of Store Associates to Store Managers, advancement of Store Associates into the Shift Lead program.
- Under direction from the Regional Vice President and Director of Training conducts field Train the Trainer (T3) sessions within assigned region.
- Host and/or co-hosts Shift Lead Huddles with Shift Leads to review the Weekly Express and/or questions related to training.
- Plans and facilitates monthly Shift Lead conference calls.
- Manages Shift Lead scheduling and partners with District Managers to provide onsite training support for all staff in assigned region.
- Directs the New Hire training work of the Shift Leads in the assigned region and uses significant discretion and judgment in the identification and placement of Shift Leads with the region.
District Manager Training and Partnership Duties
- Reviews product and services with new and existing District Managers to ensure the District Manager is knowledgeable of all available training materials. This includes how to access, assign (ACE U), understand ACE U reporting or assignment, and reviewing employee completions.
- Keeps the District Manager informed of the training assessment scores of the New Hire’s 15- and 60-day assessments scores.
- Keeps the District Manager informed of the training assessment scores of all employees as requested or needed.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. This position might require long hours and weekend work.
