As a Dental Assistant with ACE Dental, your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing treatment rooms for patients, following prescribed procedures and protocols.
- Welcoming, comforting, and seating patients to ensure their utmost comfort during dental treatments.
- Providing information and answering questions for both patients and fellow team members.
- Sterilizing and delivering instruments to the treatment area, positioning them for easy access by the dentist.
- Assisting with materials selection, mixing, and placement during treatments.
- Conducting diagnostic procedures, such as exposing and developing radiographic studies, pouring, trimming, and polishing study casts.
- Maintaining patient appearance and function through fabricating temporary restorations and cleaning removable appliances.
- Assisting dentists in managing dental and medical emergencies, ensuring patient safety.
- Educating patients on oral hygiene, plaque control, and postoperative care instructions.
- Accurately documenting dental care services in patient records, ensuring confidentiality.
- Maintaining a safe and clean working environment, strictly adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
- Ensuring the smooth operation of dental equipment by performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting any malfunctions.
- Managing dental supplies inventory, anticipating needs, and placing expedited orders as necessary.
- Continuously expanding your professional and technical knowledge through participation in educational workshops, professional publications, and networking.
Preferred skills for this position include excellent phone and front desk skills, with bilingual proficiency in Spanish being a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
