Sales Floor Manager
Position Summary:
The Sales Floor Manager manages overall store sales performance and assists in the achievement of all other company goals and directives.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Customer Service:
- Lead the store effort for sales building, world class customer service.
- Provide positive & professional representation of store.
- Proactively assist customers in solving problems.
- Greet customers entering and throughout the store.
- Thank customers when finished and when they are leaving the store.
- Provide a friendly, outgoing demeanor; work well with customers as well as associates.
- Ensure all calls and pages are answered promptly, courteously and effectively.
- Actively seek opportunities to coach associates regarding customer service efficiency.
- Handle customer complaints and work to resolve problems with the customer.
- Maintain composure during all circumstances.
- Possess excellent product knowledge and knowledge of store layout and location of products.
- Ensure store team is executing all customer service expectations.
Sales:
- Lead the store with effective sales building objectives, including store programs.
- Ensure a positive, professional and safe work environment for all associates.
- Supervise the “general operations” of the entire store.
- Responsible for opening and closing the store.
- Support and encourage store programs and promotions, leading by example.
- Work with General Manager / Store Manager on all aspects of running the store.
- Participate in store meetings and conduct regular sales meetings.
- Communicate issues to the appropriate support associates.
- Assist to ensure that regular price changes and bin tag updates are completed timely and accurately.
- Walk monthly sales ads for signing accuracy and merchandise exposure.
- Ensure sale merchandise levels are adequate and well represented for customers, while communicating opportunities.
- Oversee all cashiering functions including training, maintenance, audits, and reports.
- Assist with preventative maintenance and repairs in order to maximize and protect all physical assets (i.e. building, fixtures and equipment).
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Inventory & Merchandising:
- Actively seek out inventory opportunities throughout the store and delegate appropriate tasks to associates then follow up to ensure completion .
- Ensure daily maintenance, organization and cleanliness of the sales floor, stock room and outdoor merchandise areas.
- Assist to ensure receiving, checking in and stocking of merchandise adheres to best practices and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Assist to ensure that Mango inventory reports and negative on hand reports are completed timely and accurately.
- Assist in ordering and maintaining desirable product inventory levels to ensure in-stocks and store profitability.
- Oversee merchandise resets throughout the store.
- Assist to ensure all signage is current in the store.
Hiring & Training of Associates:
- Assist in training of all associates.
- Ensure all associates are trained according to the “training schedule” and are comfortable executing all skills.
- Actively seek out opportunities for coaching and training associates.
- Assist in hiring, training, scheduling, reviewing, rewarding and coaching associates with the approval of the General / Store Manager.
Leadership:
- Manage all aspects of store sales driving efforts and store operations in the absence of the General / Store Manager.
- Utilize leadership background to encourage store and company programs.
- Lead by example; be approachable, professional and respectful to all associates and customers.
- Lead and develop store team and supervisors to achieve successful performance.
- Communicate any merchandising, cost control or sales ideas to the Store Manager and execute.
- Prepare and challenge yourself for future advancement.
Education:
High School Diploma required; some college preferred.
Experience:
Previous successful retail management experience. Hardware experience preferred.
Physical Demands:
Standing, walking, lifting up to 60 lbs, and climbing.
50 hour work week.

Pay: From $43,000.00 per hour
