Overview:
The Summer Internship Position was created for the purpose of providing students with the
opportunity to gain experience in business firsthand by shadowing, assisting, and working directly with company teammates.
Business Summary:
Anchor Court Management, LLC (ACM) is a multi-unit, primer and rapidly growing home services ownership platform operating the national franchise brand Ace Handyman Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Ace Hardware Corporation. Through consolidation, the platform delivers professionalism and scale to a largely fragmented business segment. ACM also operates a property management division, focusing in hyper localized markets where mom and pop shops often mismanage assets of property owners. ACM delivers a multi-level comprehensive approach by leveraging the already existing franchise ownership platform to offer clients national reach and resources while maintaining a local approach and feel. In addition to home services and property
management, ACM delivers investment management to clients in the PE space.
Internship Duration: June 3rd, 2025 August 29th, 2025
Hours: 8:30am 4:30pm M-F with some weekend requirements
Location: Primarily 207 N Harlem Ave Oak Park IL 60302, and other locations as assigned.
Prerequisites:
All work with Anchor Court Management, LLC will be on a rotating basis. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the below.
Mentorship
The summer intern(s) will be primary managed and mentored directly by the office
manager and work closely with other key team members. The summer intern(s) will be
assigned to different agents for the company throughout the term to receive the most
well-rounded experience. The summer intern(s) will receive weekly review of activities
and performance to receive the most well-rounded experience and coaching.
Progression:
The ideal progression of this program is to learn the business and gain meaningful
experience throughout the term by assisting agents of the company evenly. First, learn
the businesses overall operations, then working through each department (HR, Payroll,
Marketing, Field Operations, Scheduling, Customer Service, etc).
Responsibilities:
To be established within first week of program
Office Protocols:
Internet use will be provided as a toll to complete your assignments.
Attire and Demeanor:
Be polite, courteous and helpful at all times. Maintain a can-do attitude and always
maintain professionalism. Intern will wear appropriate clothing for job operations on a
daily basis.
Accountability:
Goals will be established with the intern(s) at the beginning of the internship, and will
be reviewed at the mid-point and end of the internship. Weekly activity reports will be
completed by the intern and reviewed with their mentor.
Transportation:
Candidate shall provide dependable transportation between ACM office(s) and project
sites

- Enrolled in a 4-year college or university (or equivalent)
- Must be coachable and have the desire to learn and grow your skills and serve the community.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen to ensure our teammates, community members and customers safety
- Positive driving record
- No previous experience is required

- Shadow agents from all departments of the company
- Lead generation, customer service
- Provide outstanding service to ACM/AHS customers as directed by agent
- Develop sales, business operations and customer service skills
