As a key leader of the company, you will work closely with the Owner and Office Team to ensure the continued growth and financial performance of the company. This role directly oversees the Field Team in the delivery of all services to Ace Handyman Services’ customers in the covered areas including northern and western Oakland County, western Wayne County, the Ann Arbor metro area and the Lansing metro area. This is a hybrid field and office role. As the successful candidate, you will bring your background in the construction trades, and in supervising tradespeople, to drive a culture of dedication to safety and customer satisfaction, ever increasing levels of work quality, and to deliver the industry’s best experience to our residential and commercial customers.

- Develop and steward a culture of Safety and accountability
- Field Team supervision: Capacity planning, hiring, training, ensure proper skill mix, performance evaluation
- Coordination with Office Team/CSRs: Craftsman scheduling and availability, customer issues, estimate development and review
- Financial Management: Proper and accurate billing and recordkeeping; accurate recording of material purchases; material purchase budgets for Field Craftsmen
- Fleet management: proper vehicle use; proactive vehicle maintenance, vehicle replacement
- Customer issue management; Investigate and resolve customer quality claims; escalate major issues to Owner
- Business development: Conduct consultations leading to written estimates; review project estimates for accuracy; work with Owner and others to expand service offering
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in field service management including hiring and performance management of field personnel.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with construction trades best practices and regulations.
- Planning and organizing
- Financial acumen
- Use of ServiceTitan or similar operational software (strongly preferred)
Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
