Multi-skilled Craftsmen! Ace Handyman Charleston East needs your expertise!
We are one of Charleston's top-rated handyman, repair, and remodeling companies. We provide homes and businesses throughout Charleston with quality craftsmanship for all their repair, maintenance, and remodeling projects – both large and small – inside and outside. We are currently seeking highly motivated professional Craftsmen with skills in multiple trades.
If you are looking for a W2 position that allows you the flexibility of an independent job, look no further! We find and schedule the appointments for you, and you provide the quality craftsmanship and customer service that our clients have come to expect from us. You will work out of the ACE Hardware Store in James Island and use the company Van to travel to job sites in nearby areas.
Your potential income can range from $45K to $55K per year, and we also provide benefits and performance bonuses. If you meet our qualifications, we want to hear from you today!

We are looking for Craftsmen with a strong work ethic, a professional appearance, demeanor, and proficient knowledge of all trades—from Carpentry, Tiling, Painting, and Drywalling to light Plumbing and Electrical. You must also display exceptional customer service skills, including solid communication and interpersonal abilities and the capacity to interact positively with a wide variety of clients, as well as fellow employees, management, and office personnel.

The nearly 300 Craftsmen representing our Brand are the heart and soul of our turn-key, white-glove home repair, maintenance, and improvement service. They are skilled and experienced in many trades, but their professionalism and attention to detail set them apart from others in the industry.
Most of the projects completed are for Repeat and Referral Customers—folks truly appreciate our high level of service. They often request additional work by asking for particular Craftsmen by name. Responsibilities
- Utilize hand and power tools to perform various construction tasks, including carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work.
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate project execution.
- Conduct construction inspections and estimations to meet project specifications.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and team members.
- Maintain a safe and organized construction site while adhering to all safety protocols.
- Perform drywall installation, plastering, and roofing as required.
- Successful prior track record as a Multi-Skilled Craftsman
- Ability to perform minor electrical and plumbing
- Own standard set of tools to fulfill all of the above trades
- Own truck or van (company vehicle possible after 3-6 months)
- Current and valid driver's license
- Residence within 15 miles of the target area
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Robust documentation and invoicing skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
