We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated HVAC Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance tasks on residential heating and air conditioning systems. This role focuses on cleaning, inspecting, and ensuring the optimal function of HVAC equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on residential HVAC systems, including changing filters, cleaning coils, inspecting and tightening electrical connections, checking and adjusting refrigerant pressures, and more.
- Conduct visual, auditory, mechanical, and electrical inspections to assess equipment function and ensure reliability.
- Maintain a consistent 40-hour workweek, with some seasonal fluctuations based on weather.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to work independently while adhering to high standards of quality.
- Professional presence and strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers.
- Valid driver's license, along with the ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of low and high-voltage electrical systems.
- Previous experience in HVAC or related mechanical/electrical work.
