Duties
- Operate the cash register and process customer transactions accurately using POS systems.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with product inquiries.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions while maintaining accuracy in cash handling.
- Assist with product demonstrations to promote sales and enhance customer engagement.
- Upsell products when appropriate to maximize sales opportunities.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring all merchandise is properly displayed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Support supervisors in training new cashiers and providing guidance on best practices.
Requirements
- Basic math skills to ensure accurate transaction processing.
- Experience with POS systems is preferred; familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus.

- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is highly desirable.
