Ace Hardware of Navarre is a part of local family-owned group of stores called Panhandle Ace, with sister stores in Destin and Freeport. We have always ensured that our customer service sets us apart and we strive to hold on to the friendly local hardware store atmosphere.
We are currently seeking an Keyholder that fits our culture and is willing to be flexible to fulfill the required duties in the store. Our Keyholders serve as shift leads when the Manager or Assistant Manager are not present. They are tasked with opening and closing duties, along with various other responsibilities to ensure efficient day-to-day operations, but their main role is to excel and be leaders on our sales floor.
Base knowledge of hardware products and their applications is required for this role.

Minimum Requirements
The minimum requirements for this position include:
- Education/Training: High School degree, some college preferred. Possess a vast product knowledge of hardware related products along with a willingness to learn
- Experience: Hardware knowledge
- Skills/Knowledge: Strong leadership and analytical skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks with a high attention to detail
- Knowledge of retail computer systems (MS Word and Excel a plus)
- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the business
Physical Requirements
The minimum physical requirements for this position include:
- Ability to stand for an extended period of time
- Move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures throughout the store, which entails lifting 50lbs and perform all functions as set forth

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
