Responsibilities:
- Greet customers as they enter the store
- Scan items, process transactions, and handle cash and credit card payments accurately
- Assist customers with locating products and answering questions about merchandise
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Answering phone calls and directing customer calls to the correct departments
- Assist in stocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels
Experience:
- Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred
- Proficiency in retail math calculations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with diverse customers
- Familiarity with cash register operations
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
