Human Resources Generalist

Ace ImageWear is a family-owned uniform rental company serving businesses throughout Kansas City, Missouri, and Houston, Texas. With nearly 90 years in business, we know a few things about customer satisfaction and delivering on our promises.

We are looking for a highly motivated, professional, and enthusiastic HR Generalist to join our company and be part of our team! Our ideal candidate will have 3 years HR experience. This position is on-site, at our office in Kansas City, MO and reports to the HR Manager.

Schedule/Tentative Hours:
Monday-Thursday 7:30am – 5pm. Fridays 8am – 12pm (half day Fridays)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide guidance and support to managers on HR-related matters
• Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues
• Administer compensation and benefits programs, including payroll processing and managing employee leave requests
• Manage the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, screening resumes, and conducting interviews
• Oversee retention, recognition, onboarding, internal change and off boarding.
• Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures
• Administer and coordinate company’s safety program
• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
• Develop and implement employee performance management systems
• Occasionally assist our customer service department with internal projects, and day to day functions such as data entry of customer requests

Requirements:

• 3 years of related human resources (HR) experience
• Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and procedures
• Experience with payroll processing (ADP preferred)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion
• Strong problem-solving skills to address employee relations issues effectively
• Bilingual Spanish/English skills would be beneficial
