Job Summary
We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Technician to join our maintenance team. In this role, you’ll apply engineering techniques to solve problems, create or modify technical documents, and ensure work meets safety and industry standards.
Work Schedule:
Full-Time, Monday to Thursday, 5:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
10 Paid Holidays each year
40 Hours of Vacation after 90 days
40 Additional Hours on your anniversary date
Key Responsibilities
Use technology to meet company needs and improve processes.
Analyze system performance to get the best return on investment.
Work with teams to improve or automate procedures.
Design systems that integrate machines, software, and hardware (e.g., robotics, thermal, hydraulic systems).
Coordinate the installation and operation of PLC and SCADA systems.
Develop instructions, blueprints, and procedures for projects.
Help train staff on new processes and systems.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
Follow safety protocols, including lockout-tagout, when working on equipment.
Collaborate with team members across all departments.
Purchase personal tools as required by company policy.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Strong knowledge of electrical engineering (through education or experience).
Experience with:
SCADA Software (Lookout, LabView)
PLC Programming (Direct Logic, Allen Bradley RS Logic 500)
VFD and Servo Motor Programming
HMI Programming (C More, AVG)
Electrical system design and development
5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools (micrometers, calipers).
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Organized, self-motivated, and able to multitask.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for long periods (up to 90% of the time).
Must be able to move around the work area and handle equipment.
Good reading, writing, and manual dexterity skills.
Ability to lift items up to 60 pounds as needed.
