My client is a Tier 1 automotive manufacturer looking for an innovative automation engineer to join the team on a full-time permanent basis.
Shift : 1st Monday – Friday 7am – 3 : 30pm
Salary : up to $85,000

Responsibilities
This position requires that you be able to quickly diagnose equipment processes and problems. Have the ability to manage and control multiple projects. Use your experience to improve and develop better process and be able to setup new equipment for mass production.
Improve manufacturing process
Reduce machine downtime
Improve part quality through material or process improvement
Introduce new technology and innovation
Take project from planning stage to full implementation
Work with cross functional team to solve problems (Kaizen team)
Identify and document process control point (equipment / process setting)
Requirements
- 3 yrs. experience in a technical discipline related to Manufacturing and / or BS in Electrical / Mechanical engineering discipline
- 3 yrs. Industrial Controls Experience (Electrical, Pneumatic, Hydraulic, PLC’s, etc.)
- Project Management Skills / / Proficient in MS Office
- PLC Programming
- Knowledge various vision systems
- Familiar with reading various types of drawings. (Equipment Controls, Part drawings)
