Sr. Automation Engineer – Facilities
Location: Maryland, on site
6-month initial contract with annual renewals after initial period
Overview:
Our pharmaceutical client Maryland is looking for a Senior Automation Engineer with strong experience supporting Building Management Systems (BMS) and Environmental Monitoring Systems (EMS), particularly Siemens Desigo, as well as Rockwell PLC automation for utilities and facilities systems.
The key task will be working with utilities systems to reduce water usage (although any utilities-based efficiency experience - carbon, gas, etc - would be relevant).
Requirements:
- 4 years automation experience, with at least 2 years in pharma or biotech
- Proficiency with programming and troubleshooting Rockwell PLCs
- Hands-on experience with Siemens Desigo BMS/EMS systems
- Familiarity with EMS, BMS, and BAS
- Experience with Utilities Based Efficiency Projects ideal, but not required
This role can be worked W2 or 1099. No agency applications will be considered.
