Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Control Systems Engineer to join our team at ACE Partners. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and programming control systems for automated equipment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Design and Program Automated Equipment: Design and program automated equipment in accordance with company and customer specifications using standard procedures.
- Safety Circuit Designs: Develop and implement safety circuit designs and programming via safety PLCs.
- Motion Controller Experience: Work with motion controllers including VFDs and Servos.
- Risk Assessments: Conduct risk assessments and implement associated safety devices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficiency in PLC, HMI, robotics, AutoCAD, motion control, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
- Experience with software and tools such as AutoCAD, Studio 5000, RSLogix 500, and FactoryTalk View.
Duties Include:
- Equipment Specification: Specify components and document control systems for various types of automated equipment.
- System Design and Debugging: Design electrical and pneumatic systems, program machine PLCs, and debug machinery.
- Machinery Certification: Certify machinery for customer run-off.
- Installation and Startup: Travel to customer sites for installation and startup of equipment.
Location: This is an on-site position located in Princeton, MN.
