A leading Medical manufacturing company is seeking a highly skilled Extrusion Process Engineer to provide technical expertise in medical extrusion processes.
This role is responsible for leading the development and optimization of extrusion processes for both new and existing product lines, managing projects from the initial concept phase through full-scale production.
This hands-on engineering position involves running production extrusion, training operators, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality, repeatable processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in plastics and polymers and will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive equipment selection, process improvements, and validation efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead extrusion process development for new and existing product lines.
- Operate and optimize extrusion lines during both production and development phases.
- Collect and analyze data to establish robust, repeatable processes.
- Select and design equipment for extrusion processes, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
- Develop and execute validation activities for extrusion-related processes and equipment.
