What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Building Inspector position at ACE Quality Control?
ACE Quality Control is seeking Commercial and Residential Inspectors to part of our growing team and work on some significant projects in throughout the Northern California. Consequently, we have a career opportunity for Inspectors. We're looking for a person with initiative, who will perform routine to complex inspection and testing of construction materials in the field in order to verify conformance to construction plans and specifications. The Inspector will interact daily with owner and contractor teams to inspect active work projects, will prepare daily reports and data sheets and may be called upon to perform various tasks to meet our client project goals. This a key team player position where professionalism and supporting clients are critical.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
· Ensures residential and commercial buildings and other structures within the city are permitted and inspected to conform to the adopted state and local construction codes, regulations, and guidelines.
· Conducts in-field inspections and reviews third party inspections and reports for permitted projects; issues correction notices or approvals as required.
· Have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record or
· A company vehicle can be assigned to individuals where needed
· Willing to travel
· Minimum Experience of 5 years with residential and commercial
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Some college or a degree is highly desired.
Required Certifications: Possess current certifications in areas listed below. Senior Inspectors are needed for full-time projects.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
