This role is responsible for managing a diverse range of vehicles, including trucks, vans, and cars, and ensuring that all fleet operations are compliant with relevant laws and regulations. Responsibilities : - Develop and implement fleet management policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. - Manage the maintenance and repair of fleet vehicles, including scheduling and coordinating maintenance and repair activities. - Oversee the administration of fleet operations, including managing vehicle inventory, tracking vehicle mileage, and ensuring that all vehicles are properly licensed and registered. - Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to ensure that all fleet vehicles are properly serviced and maintained. - Conduct regular inspections of fleet vehicles to identify any potential safety issues or maintenance needs. - Manage the budget for fleet operations, including managing fuel costs and vehicle maintenance expenses. - Develop and implement strategies to reduce fleet costs and improve overall efficiency. - Develop and implement policies and procedures for the use of company vehicles, including ensuring that all vehicles are used in a safe and responsible manner. - Manage the training of fleet drivers, including ensuring that all drivers are properly trained and certified to operate company vehicles. - Conduct regular audits of fleet operations to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
