We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lease Operator to join our team.
The Lease Operator will be responsible for the overall management of the site, including maintenance, and equipment operation.
Schedule: 8 days on 6 days off
Duties:
- Monitor and control production operations on the lease to ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
- Supervise and train drilling and production personnel, including operators, mechanics, and laborers.
- Operate and maintain drilling, production, and support equipment, including cranes, heavy equipment, and other machinery.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks on equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure safe operation.
- Conduct safety audits and enforce strict safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as geology and engineering, to ensure accurate and efficient drilling and production operations.
- Maintain accurate records of drilling and production operations, including production data, well logs, and maintenance records.
- Communicate effectively with other team members, management, and regulatory agencies to ensure smooth operations and compliance with all relevant regulations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years proven experience as a Lease Operator, in the oil and gas industry.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and experience with heavy equipment operation.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
- Commercial driving experience and a valid commercial driver's license.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Experience with horizontal drilling operations and familiarity with the technology and techniques used in this process.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in a related field preferred.
The successful candidate will be able to work independently, demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, and possess the technical skills and knowledge necessary to operate an oil rig or drilling site effectively.

Pay: $30.00 - $42.00 per hour
