What are the responsibilities and job description for the Excavator Operator position at Ace Services Inc?
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating heavy equipment, particularly excavators and skid steers, in the context of underground utility projects. The role involves trenching, grading, and excavation for the installation of utility lines, ensuring safety and accuracy in all operations.
What you will do:
- Operate excavator, skid steer and other heavy equipment to perform trenching, grading, and excavation.
- Follow site plans and blueprints to ensure precise digging and installation of utility lines.
- Work closely with site supervisors and crew members to ensure efficient and safe project execution.
- Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including OSHA standards.
- Assist with other tasks as needed, including manual labor related to utility installation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Maintain safe working procedures at ALL times.
