What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Generalist position at ACE Surgical Supply Company Inc?
The Human Resources Generalist will provide human resources support to employees and leadership of their assigned facility.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Adhere with the company’s Quality Management System to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
- General administrative duties in support of the HR function including, but not limited to data entry, scanning, and filing.
- Responsible for maintaining confidential employee files including benefits, training, and I-9 files
- Maintain updated organizational charts for assigned facility/facilities.
- Manage events for assigned facility.
- Provide reporting and payroll assistance utilizing HRIS applications.
- Perform recruiting tasks such as applicant sourcing, routing to managers and interviewing.
- Assist managers with coaching and development of employees.
- Develops and promotes positive employee relations and communication
- Provide counsel to managers on general employee relations issues, escalate to the Corporate Office when necessary.
- Maintain the confidentiality and security of data accessed during the course of daily activity
- Provide back up support to Benefits Program Manager for open enrollment and leave management.
- Act as Safety Committee member, partners with appropriate personnel to ensure safety-related concerns are addressed, communicated, and reported, as appropriate.
- Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience with multiple HR functions including Recruiting, Leave Management, Benefits Administration and Employee Relations.
- Knowledgeable of HR information systems.
- Time management and organizational skills essential.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Must be able to work independently and prioritize tasks successfully.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills are required.
- An analytical mind capable of learnings quickly, adapting to change, and problem solving
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, human resources and/or combination of experience.
A minimum of 3 years of Human Resources experience required
Experience in ADP preferred
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
HR Certification a plus
