Responsibilities
- Create panel layouts, one-line diagrams, wiring schematics, and Bills of Materials using AutoCAD Electrical.
- Design and develop switchboards and low-voltage power distribution systems (up to 600 VAC).
- Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, including UL 891, UL 489, UL 50, NFPA 70E, and the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Apply in-depth knowledge of circuit breakers, bus bars, power metering systems, and electrical safety/detection devices.
- Utilize and troubleshoot Modbus over TCP/IP for system integration.
- Maintain proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical and best practices in switchboard and panel design.
