What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Manager position at Ace Thermal Systems?
Summary / Objectives : Leads the Quality Department, inclusive of Quality Assurance and Quality Control, and is responsible for the development, deployment and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS).
Essential Functions and Duties :
- Lead the Quality Department, inclusive of Quality Assurance and Quality Control.
- Ensure the conformity of products and / or services delivered from the site with technical specifications and customer requirements
- Accountable for maintenance and continuous improvement of the QMS.
- Monitor key performance indicators to report on the effectiveness of the QMS.
- Maintain applicable industry and regulatory certifications, e.g. AS9100, NADCAP.
- Manage and conduct an effective internal QMS audit program.
- Coordinate customer quality audits and timely responses.
- Manage third party compliance audits of our quality management system.
- Determine root cause of quality issues and drive effective corrective action.
- Participate in the design review and production readiness review processes.
- Accountable for Receiving, In-process and Final product quality inspections.
- Maintain all quality inspection equipment, inclusive of all calibration requirements.
