Acenda Integrated Health is recruiting for an Billing Specialist I to support our Revenue Cycle Management Department in Glassboro, New Jersey.

Key Responsibilities:
- Submit and manage claims through complete adjudication process including denial and A/R follow-up
- Research and resolve billing issues by working with insurance companies and direct supervisor
- Collaborate with Acenda team members and develop rapport with clients as a trusted partner
- Report potential issues as it pertains to the EMR, claims, denials or write-off adjustments to direct supervisor
- Enter payments via EFT,ERA or other payment methods
Requirements:
- High School Diploma required
- Experience with Electronic Medical Record system, previous work in healthcare setting. (Behavioral Health preferred, but not required)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, customer service skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office 365) Must have and maintain a valid driver's license, use of an insured vehicle, and an acceptable driving record.
Additional Information:
- Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30a-5p
- Hourly Rate: $17.50
- $500 Sign-on Bonus
