What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Generalist position at Acer?
Acer Service Corporation is seeking a dedicated HR Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting various HR functions within the organization to include learning development and talent acquisition. Currently a hybrid position; HR staff is required to work on-site, as needed. This is not a fully remote role.
Responsibilities
- Oversee recruitment processes, including job postings, screening resumes, and conducting interviews
- Conduct onboarding for new employees
- Coordinate training and development programs for staff
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with labor regulations
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
- Consult with team members, managers and leadership for recruitment purposes and department specific processes
- Assist with sitewide communications
- Utilize HRIS systems (SAP, Paycom)
- Secondary support for site Human Resources Business Partner
- Other human resources duties as assigned
Requirements
- Secondary education in human resources, business, or related equivalent work history
- 1-3 years’ experience with full cycle recruiting and new hire onboarding
- 1-3 years’ experience with general human resource deliverables
- Proficient in MS office Suite (MS Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of general employment laws and Human Resource practices
- Proficiency with SAP HRIS system strongly preferred
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
