What are the responsibilities and job description for the BCBA position at Aces for Autism?
Provides services to clinets all across Eastern North Carolina in 3 different locations
- Supervise caseload of 8-12 clients in clinic setting
- Treat clients 5 days per week during a typical work week 8 am ? 5 pm or 9 am ? 6 pm
- Achieve weekly billable hours.
- Create implement new programs.
- Attending clinic staff meetings.
- Conduct skills and functional behavior assessments.
- Develop and supervise implementation of client plans.
- Communicate with clients? teams including family, behavioral staff, psychologist, etc.
- Provide staff caregivers and community training.
- Construct/utilize appropriate curricula to teach skills across all domains (e.g. communication, play, self-help)
- Supervise and observe behavioral staff and provide ongoing written and verbal feedback to supervisees.
- Lead client team meetings.
- Collect, compile, and graph data; make data-based decisions regarding client programs.
- Provide written clinical reports.
- Facilitate student transitions to other services when appropriate.
- Work constructively and cooperatively with other professionals (e.g. school district personnel, speech/language pathologists, occupational therapists, case managers, etc.)
- Participate in continuing education activities within and outside of Aces for Autism and stay abreast of current research in the field of autism treatment/education.
- Review central reach conversions for billing.
- Review authorization reports and keep updated.
- Perform other job duties, as assigned
