Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in low voltage systems plus standby power supply equipment repair. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and mechanical knowledge to effectively maintain and troubleshoot a variety of electronic equipment used in the Cable TV Industry.
Duties
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on electronic equipment including broadband distribution and standby power systems.
- Utilize hand tools, soldering and bench test equipment, including ohmmeters and signal analyzers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and functionality.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and equipment status.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Repair Shop Technician or similar role in electronics.
- Strong electronics knowledge and ability to work with various hand tools.
- Familiarity with computer hardware and software applications related to electronic systems.
- Ability to read schematics and technical documentation effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
