Required Skill / Knowledge
- Minimum of 5 years of heavy highway or airport experience in projects ranging from $5-$20 million
- Knowledge of construction industry practices and procedures
- Detailed, organized, accurate
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task across several projects
- Proficient in Outlook, Excel, Word, MS Project, Viewpoint and HCSS HeavyJob
- Working knowledge of estimating and scheduling software
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Self-directed and motivated
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability to complete projects on time and on budget
- Demonstrated ability to complete or supervise completion of detailed progress schedules including CPM schedules.
- Strong negotiation skills
Mandatory Physical Requirements
Education Level / Required Certification : Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent related experience.
Problem Solving : Must be able to resolve scheduling conflicts; work effectively with all levels of field personnel in order to successfully complete the project on time and on budget. Must be able to accurately project future job costs and explain deviations
