Laboratory Manager Microbiology

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Laboratory Manager to oversee the daily operations of our laboratory. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in laboratory management and a strong background in various scientific techniques. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can ensure compliance with industry standards while fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.

Duties

• Manage laboratory operations, including staff supervision, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with CGMP regulations and maintain laboratory safety protocols.
• Oversee the execution of experiments and analyses, ensuring accuracy and reliability of results.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for laboratory processes.
• Train and mentor laboratory staff on techniques such as Aseptic technique, ELISA, Microbiology, Western blot, Biochemistry, RNA extraction, PCR, and Microscopy.
• Maintain laboratory information management systems (LIMS) for data tracking and reporting.
• Conduct regular inspections of laboratory equipment to ensure proper functioning and maintenance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support research initiatives and product development.

Skills

• Proficiency in Aseptic technique and ELISA methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of Microbiology, Biochemistry, RNA extraction, PCR, Western blot techniques.
• Familiarity with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
• Experience with microscopy techniques for analysis and research purposes.
• Manages day-to-day laboratory technical and non-technical microbiology resources and operations of the market laboratory to meet organizational and regulatory requirements
• Understanding of CGMP regulations and quality control processes.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong leadership capabilities to motivate and guide a diverse team of scientists and technicians.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with internal teams and external partners.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $74,317.00 - $110,000.00 per year

Experience:

• Microbiology: 5 years (Preferred)
• supervisory: 5 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• NAACLS Accredited Certification (Preferred)
