Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse Manager to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, utilizing advanced nursing skills and knowledge. Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patients' conditions, including vital signs and overall health status.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including injections and tube feeding.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and health management.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the ICU setting.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and infection control measures.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Experience in an ICU or similar critical care environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of primary care, assisted living, occupational health, and pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) practices is a plus.
- Proficient in administering injections and managing tube feeding procedures.
- Strong understanding of vital signs assessment and interpretation.
- Familiarity with hospital protocols, procedures, and electronic health record systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to handle high-stress situations while maintaining professionalism.
