Job Summary
The Parts Sourcing Specialist will support generator internal and external customers by taking parts orders via the phone, fax, email and walk-in customers and handling generator parts sourcing for service jobs. These functions require electronic management of parts using company business systems as well as parts research, tracking, and vendor sourcing. In addition, this position requires supporting other parts personnel as needed.
Essential Job Functions
- Source all parts for Service jobs, Recommendations and Counter Sales
- Parts lookup and cross referencing third party vendor quotes
- Placing all parts on Service jobs for quoting
- Maintain an up to date knowledge of generator system technology, including competitive industries
- Perform other parts department functions, including but not limited to, support of other parts department roles as needed, warehouse tasks such as forklift operation, light housekeeping, putting away stock orders, loading and unloading truck shipments, preparing shipment of parts via UPS.
