Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure guest rooms and common areas are spotless, comfortable, and inviting
- Provide exceptional guest service with a friendly and helpful attitude
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in all areas of the hotel
- Dispose of garbage and clean all receptacles
- Keep exterior and parking area clean
- Clean public bathrooms
- Keep pool area tidy, clean, and ready for guests
- Perform detailed deep cleanings on a regular basis
- Assist laundry and housekeeping
- Strip rooms of laundry for transport
- Assist maintenance issues and guest requests which arise
- Perform full guest room cleaning to support the housekeeping department as needed during times of high occupancy or high checkouts
- Assist front desk agent with tasks as needed
- Assist other departments with preparations for upcoming events
- Perform property walks
- Monitor the security of the property
- Uphold emergency procedures
- Ensure the safety and security of guests and property
Skills:
- Experience in janitorial services and guest relations
- Experience in facility maintenance
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle security tasks with professionalism
- Customer service and a friendly attitude
- Provide genuine hospitality
Qualifications:
- Previous janitorial or housekeeping experience is preferred, but not required; we provide comprehensive training
- Knowledge of basic maintenance tasks
- Strong stamina to lift and do repetitive physical labor
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
