We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our logistics and transportation team. This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills to manage customer inquiries, coordinate shipments, and ensure seamless transportation operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, concerns, and service requests.
- Coordinate and track shipments, ensuring timely deliveries and providing status updates.
- Handle customer complaints and provide effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Work closely with logistics teams, drivers, and warehouse personnel to optimize operations.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and service requests.
- Assist in resolving freight claims, damages, and discrepancies.
- Monitor and communicate changes in delivery schedules, routing, and service availability.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience in customer service, logistics, or transportation industry preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field is a plus).
- Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
- Technical: Proficiency in logistics software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of shipping processes, freight terms, and transportation regulations is a plus.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers and team members.
