Duties
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive experience from the moment they enter the facility.
- Schedule appointments and manage the calendar for healthcare providers efficiently.
- Handle patient check-ins and check-outs, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately.
- Maintain patient records using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Answer phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries or directing calls to appropriate staff members.
- Manage office management tasks including inventory control of medical supplies and equipment.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar administrative role within a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, coding practices, and insurance processes is advantageous.
- Proficiency in using EHR systems is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with patients and staff.
