Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and clerical duties, with proficiency in technical accounting tasks.
Duties
-Conduct clerical tasks such as data entry, filing, and organizing financial documents.
-Utilize QuickBooks Online for financial transactions.
-Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
-Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies.
-Process invoices and track payments.
-Create and duplicate reports, forms, letters, and other company-related materials.
-Assist in scanning data and preparing tax returns.
-Support the timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
Requirements
-A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
-Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills.
-Proficiency in debits, credits, and general ledger reconciliation.
-Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
-Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
-The ability to meet deadlines and handle pressure situations.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
