- Ensure all reports submitted are of high quality and undergo quality assurance review
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of the evaluation process in the various programs
- Assist with supervision of all employees within the Evaluation Department
- Assist with billing issues as needed and ensure timely payment for completed evaluations
- Conduct daily department monitoring activities to ensure goals are met
- Attend IEP and IFSP meetings
- Conduct home and center-based evaluations and/or observations when necessary
- Conduct professional development workshops as needed
- Troubleshoot issues that may arise during the evaluation process
- Conduct quality assurance audits
- Communicate with various referral sources regarding pending cases
- Other duties as assigned by Director
- Individual must hold a valid certification as a School Psychologist, NYS Certified Special Educator: Students with Disabilities (Birth-2) or Permanent Special Education certificate or licensed in Social Work to ensure clinical competence.
- Successful experience working in a high volume work environment where organizational and multi-tasking skills are essential.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook a must.
- Bilingual Spanish speaking individual preferred.
- Strong analytical skills
- Remain current with regard to policy and regulations
