Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Driver to join our team. As a Driver, you will be essential to providing reliable transportation for our students on the autism spectrum to school and home from school. Your excellent driving skills, attention to detail and commitment to safety will contribute to the smooth delivery for our students.
Duties:
- Safely operate the company vans to transport up to 12 students, while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
-Interact professionally with students, parents and school staff, providing excellent customer service and addressing any inquiries
-Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure the well-being of both the driver and the students
-Report any accidents, incidents or traffic violations to the supervisor immediately
-Adhere to company policies and procedures including those related to vehicle operation
Requirements:
- Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Required
-Drivers License Required with a clean driving record
- Strong communication skills
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with students with disabilities
- Flexibility to work varying shifts
