The Company is looking to fill both full and part-time positions. Achieve Together Behavioral Services provides paid, hands-on training to its employees.

We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will work directly with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder to implement behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).

We provide quarterly training to all staff, and at least 10% of supervision from a BCBA for our RBTs.

Our entire company focuses on providing client centered, trauma informed, neurodiversity affirming ABA therapy to the autistic community.

RBT Job Description

  • Teach children on the autism spectrum new skills and work with their families to bring fulfilling changes to their lives. Work on adding positive skills such as social, personal, and language
  • Work one on one or in a small group setting in clinic, school or the family's home
  • Implement treatment plans to increase language, social, play/leisure, life and academic skills
  • Accurately follow treatment plans, and take data daily on multiple targets
  • Collaborate with your supervisors and coworkers on a daily basis to provide exceptional services for clients
  • Communicate with families, co-workers and admin in a kind, supportive way
  • Handle stressful situations in a calm and positive manner

Responsibilities:

  • Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA
  • Provide direct 1:1 therapy to children
  • Collect data on client behavior during sessions
  • Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
  • Provide trauma informed and neurodiversity affirming ABA therapy
  • Follow detailed instructions
  • Behave in a professional manner
  • Willing to get a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certificate within 30 days (paid by the employer)
  • Must have a strong desire to learn and implement ABA well to increase social, language, academic, and play skills in children and teens on the autism spectrum.
  • Willing to collaborate with the entire team
  • Must be able to pass a background (BCI and FBI) check

Skills:

  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills with employer, co-workers and clients (required)
  • Must be a self starter, extremely reliable and trustworthy (required)
  • Able to stay calm and positive in stressful situations (required)
  • Able to multitask, problem solve and be creative (required)
  • Able to lift 60 pounds and get up and down off the floor with ease
  • Experience working with children (NOT required)
  • Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles (NOT required)

Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED

Additional Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working with children with ASD or other developmental disabilities, Previous ABA experience
  • BLS for Healthcare Workers
  • Active RBT certification
  • PTO available for full time employees after the first 6 months of employment (10 personal days and 7 paid holidays)
  • Option to do a 36 hour work week for full timers.
  • Non-billable time is paid.
  • Paid Mileage
  • End of year bonuses given for employees who demonstrate professionalism, attendance, dedication and growth *Must be with company 3 months to be eligible
  • Yearly raises based upon performance and time with the company
  • Paid RBT training and BCBA supervision hours; Free supervision for supervisees seeking behavior analyst certification
  • Paid yearly RBT dues
  • Paid CPR classes
  • Reimbursement for required background checks and re-certification fees

Details:

  • Job Type: Full Time and Part Time
  • Working Hours: Full Time must be available to work is currently Monday through Friday 9AM-6PM. Starting May 28th, Full Time must be available to work Monday through Friday 8AM-4PM. Part Time hours are based on matching our needs with those of the applicants.
  • Salary: $16.00 to $20.00 /hour – based on experience
