✨What You’ll Do:
As a Direct Service Provider, you’ll provide 1-on-1 support to individuals with disabilities—including those with challenging behaviors—in their workplaces and communities (and occasionally in their homes). Your support helps people build independence, learn skills, and reach goals that matter to them.
Duties include:
- Assisting with daily routines, job skills, and personal goals
- Supporting behavior strategies and modeling appropriate behavior
- Planning and participating in meaningful activities
- Helping clients build confidence and life skills
- Providing transportation when needed
- Monitoring progress and completing timely reports
- Collaborating with the team to support growth and problem-solve
- Encouraging independence and gradually reducing on-site assistance, as appropriate
What You Need to Bring:
- At least one year of experience supporting individuals with disabilities (personal or professional)
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED, HSED)
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, auto insurance, and good driving record
- Basic computer and cell phone skills
- Ability to manage and support challenging behaviors while promoting skill development
- Patience, empathy, flexibility, and strong communication skills
Additional Info:
- Job offers are contingent on a background check and driver’s verification
- Some placements (e.g., healthcare settings) may require TB tests or immunizations
- Full-time and part-time positions available
- Monday–Friday, day shifts (some flexibility)
- On-site only (not remote)
