AchieveKids received full accreditation by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and specializes in creating learning for students ages 5 to 22 with severe emotional and/or developmental disabilities including autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disabilities, mood, disruptive behavior, and anxiety disorders. Our innovative teachers, paraprofessionals, behavioral health team, and speech therapists work collaboratively to create opportunity and independence in the lives of the students in our community. This interdisciplinary team becomes a skillful problem solving group that instructs, guides and assists these students toward greater independence and self-reliance, enabling a path to a brighter future. QUALIFICATIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES • Special Education Teaching Credential* (mild-moderate or extensive support needs), or ability to obtain college internship or valid CA credential *We provide assistance to out-of-state applicants. • Ability to effectively collaborate with team to maintain academic integrity and aligned learning of planned lessons, learning experiences, and ongoing success for students • Strong understanding of social-emotional development, positive behavior support, and classroom management skills • Design, implement, and facilitate a variety of educational, social, and emotional learning experiences/methods that meet classroom needs • Ability to learn technology patterns that organize instructional materials and data-gathering • Critical thinking skills and the ability to work under minimal supervision

Salary : $83,868 - $105,105
